Tim has been influenced by a varity of artists dating back to the Outlaw Country artists such as Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash, the deep sounds of Pink Floyd, the screeming guitar of Johnny Winter and the hard drivin' sounds of the Rolling Stones. He has taken many these influences into the raw form of acoustic and fed them into his own style. The cover band, The Ruffo Brother's Band has a tagline, "Keepin' live music alive".
Tim plays his songs and solo shows with the same passionate feeling. The EP "Take Me Away", being released in Feb 2011, is comprised of songs that are up close and personal about past experiences. They are the beginning of a larger story with more to come.
